Sydni Wilson Represents the Composto Group at Centennial ACS Symposium

At the conclusion of her third year, Ph.D. candidate Sydni Wilson reached an exciting professional milestone by presenting at her first scientific conference, the 100th ACS Colloid and Surface Science Symposium. Held at the University of Delaware in Newark from June 21–24, 2026, the centennial symposium brought together researchers from academia, industry, and national laboratories to discuss emerging advances in colloid, surface, and interface science.

Sydni presented her research, titled “Fabrication of Lipid Nanoparticles and Lipid-Supported Bilayer on Hydroxyapatite Surfaces,” which explores how lipid-based nanomaterials interact with hydroxyapatite, the primary inorganic component of bone. Her presentation highlighted her ongoing work at the intersection of lipid nanoparticle design, surface science, and mineral interfaces. We are proud of Sydni for representing the Composto Group and sharing her research at this historic meeting, and we look forward to seeing her continued growth as a researcher and scientific communicator.
