Hyun-Su Lee received his Ph.D in Chemistry from North Carolina State University. He is currently studying the uptake and release of metals from oral-relevant surfaces, the impact of these metals on the viscoelasticity of the remaining surface, key fundamental interfacial effects of polymers on pellicle and biofilm binding to hydroxyapatite or enamel surfaces, as well as surface nano-coatings to optimize controlled drug-release, antibacterial and biocompatibility properties.

Katie Rose received her B.S. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the Case Western Reserve University. She is a recipient of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship (NSF-GRFP), REACT Fellowship, and has conducted research in Grenoble, France under the NSF Graduate Opportunities Worldwide (GROW) Fellowship. She is currently studying nanoparticle diffusion in polymer gels. She is co-advised by Dr. Daeyeon Lee in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
