The Composto Lab is excited to have two Rachleff Scholars joining our research team, Theodore Kurkoski and Carlos Medina Jimenez! While their official 10-week summer research experience will begin after classes end in May, both Teddy and Carlos have decided to join the lab in January to start their projects. Teddy will be working under Nadia Krook on the hierarchial structures of two nanoparticle species in polymer composites, while Carlos will be working under Katie Rose on particle diffusion through polymer gels.
The lab is thankful to the Rachleff Scholars Program for encouraging and funding undergraduate research. More information on the Rachleff Scholar Program can be found here.
